Andee Rubin to present “Human-Centered AI: Developing Programs for Fostering Agency, Creativity, and Connection”

Based on a workshop at the ASTC (Association of Science and Technology Centers) conference in September 2024, Andee Rubin will focus on the theme of agency with respect to AI. Attend the zoom workshop at 1PM ET/10AM PT, Tuesday, October 22

The workshop was organized by Andee’s long-time colleague Dorothy Bennett of the New York Hall of Science and was presented in three parts:

Presentations about agency-based perspectives on AI (including one by me on data in AI and one by REVISE’s Sana Karim on Digital Promise’s AI Framework)
Use case experiences with three AI tools: Teachable Machine, ChatGPT and DALL-E
A design challenge for teams of workshop participants

Andee will describe the designs that the teams came up with in response to the challenge.
