The TEAM-UP Task Force, including Mia Ong of TERC, recently received the 2022 Excellence in Physics Education Award from APS Physics
This amazing group is being recognized for their, “groundbreaking analysis revealing sources of persistent underrepresentation of African-Americans in physics and astronomy; recommendation of data-driven, systemic strategies to increase the number of African-American physics bachelor’s degree recipients; and ways to catalyze cultural change.“
The Excellence in Physics Education Award each year recognizes a team, collaboration, or an exceptional individual who has exhibited a sustained commitment to excellence in physics education.
