The Using Data professional development project is now available online as a 16 week, 3 credit graduate course for teachers, department heads, administrators and school or district data teams.
TERC's Using Data Project has developed an online course based on the work of Nancy Love in her book Using Data/Getting Results and on the tools and process developed for Coaching with Data Facilitators Guide (forthcoming from Corwin Press). The course offers an option for 3 graduate credits from Salem State College through the Northeast Consortium for Staff Development.
Using Data/Getting Results has reached over 8000 educators, and the workshops have helped over a thousand educators from over 50 districts nationwide to use data to support lasting school reform.
The course can be taken by individuals who are responsible for leading the use of data by district or school level teams or by whole data teams working with their own local data.
The instructor-led course will begin May 1, 2006.
Registration Deadline: April 17
