Professional Development Opportunity for Science & Technology Teachers: New EET Seminars

February 3, 2004

Earth Exploration Toolbook invites science and technology teachers of grades 6 to 12 to participate in a two-hour EET distance-learning workshop. By dialing in to a toll-free teleconference number, participants will walk through one of the Toolbook chapters, and discuss ways to use Earth science datasets and tools with their students. To take part in this opportunity, you need an Internet-connected computer and the ability to talk on the telephone at the same time. Attendees will receive a $60 stipend for participating in the seminar and completing an online survey.

The first seminar this spring will use the Toolbook chapter, Exploring Regional Differences in Climate Change. The same seminar will be held again in March.
