Project: Investigations Logo The Investigations Center for Curriculum and Professional Development is dedicated to advancing the teaching and learning of mathematics for all students and teachers. Home to the elementary mathematics curriculum, Investigations in Number, Data, and Space™, the Center offers information and resources about the curriculum. Investigations has over 20 years of experience developing and providing professional development for teachers, coaches, and administrators, and offering ongoing implementation support for schools and districts. Investigations 3 was developed at TERC and is based in part on work supported by the National Science Foundation. It is published by Savvas Learning Company (formally known as Pearson).

The History of Investigations

There have been 3 editions of Investigations in Number, Data, and Space, spanning 25 years of research and development. Each edition was field tested in a range of classrooms.
